19 Day Fast
It’s that special time of year for Baha’is around the world where everyone that is able to, fasts from eating and drinking anything from sunrise to sunset for nineteen days.
Waking up early for some focused spiritual connection with the Divine and striving to maintain that meditative contemplation throughout the day is definitely amplified by the physical detachment from food and water.
I love the Fast. I haven’t successfully completed each Fast over the past twenty years but every single attempt has held significant and profound insights for me - whether it is a simple increase in awareness and self-knowledge or tectonic shifts in my consciousness and mental geography or mystic glimpses into the hidden mysteries of the universe.
It is always awesome.
So here we go - if any significant reflections are unearthed, I’ll be sure to share.

Float
I’ve been working on some photography for the Snuneymuxw First Nation and while the weather was not cooperating with some of visuals I had in mind, this image turned out alright.
Family Fun
It’s pretty awesome having access to an indoor playground to train in. This is the first in what will be a series of Kalyan Krew gymnastics adventures.

Snow Adventure
We don’t get a lot of snow in the Southern part of Vancouver Island, so when we get some the fam makes sure to seize the opportunity to get out there and enjoy it.
Good times.
